TEXTURE PHOTOGRAPHS
by TIM WALKER

Huzzah! An opportunity presented itself for me to put up photographs at an art show at the Works Gallery in San Jose. Some friends from San Jose State University are the curators of the show and asked me put up some of my texture photographs! To get ready I assembled all of my most stunning textural photographs lurking around in my Lightroom catalog. I have some great textures from Don Edwards National Wildlife Refuge, Alaska, the California Coast, as well as other great places from my travels. But alas I had to narrow it down to four of my best images that would work well as a set. So I decided to use four aerial photographs from Denali National Park, Alaska. I abstracted some of the photographs by turning them on their sides to add to the textural painter-like effect. You can see what the final layout will look like here. Enjoy the photos!
