PINNACLES NATIONAL MONUMENT

I have been exploring in Pinnacles National Monument since I was a little kid strapped onto my parents back. It is a great place that's not too far from home, with an abundance of interesting wildlife.
This year I was lucky enough to see not only the Condors up close and personal, but also the parks native tarantula! Only today did I look up all the different kinds of reptiles that live in the park...and now I want to see them all. Not to mention hunting down the beautiful green moth that flew into the research cabin.
I can only hope I am back there soon, whether it be out on the trap line, or camping on my own. I can't go too long without making a trip or two to Pinnacles.
